This is a high-impact executive role responsible for defining and executing the organization’s commercial strategy to drive scalable revenue growth and market expansion. The CCO will lead all aspects of sales, business development, pricing, customer engagement, and performance measurement while overseeing high-performing commercial teams. This position requires a strategic, results-driven leader capable of influencing cross-functional teams and leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making.
The role involves significant collaboration with internal stakeholders and external customers, focusing on sustainable growth and operational excellence. With a mix of remote work and >50% travel, this position offers exposure to complex B2B environments in industries such as aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, or electronics.
- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies across direct and digital channels to drive revenue growth
- Lead, mentor, and grow sales, business development, and marketing teams, fostering high performance and accountability
- Manage customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction programs to strengthen relationships and long-term engagement
- Oversee pricing, quoting, RFQ management, and win-rate optimization
- Maintain robust CRM discipline, KPIs, analytics, and executive reporting for commercial performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives, ensure operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives
- Represent the organization in high-level negotiations, customer interactions, and industry events
- 10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience (CCO, VP Sales, VP Business Development)
- Proven track record in B2B commercial growth and revenue generation
- Experience leading and scaling large teams across multiple functions
- Strong strategic planning, business acumen, and financial literacy
- Expertise in pricing, negotiation, contractual agreements, and customer engagement
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics to inform commercial decisions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- MBA or equivalent advanced business education preferred
- Industry experience in Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Industrial, or Electronics highly desirable
