California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking a Costing & Elections Analyst in the Member Account Management Division (MAMD) on the Costing and Elections Team. Join us to collaborate and promote a positive team environment.

Essential Functions
  • Perform eligibility review and cost calculations of service credit purchase (SCP) requests.
  • Review, research, evaluate, correct, process, and maintain SCP elections.
  • Investigate and resolve difficult and sensitive cases and issues.
  • Respond to inquiries (e.g., telephone, Workflow) of a difficult and sensitive nature and, if appropriate, escalates to designated team members.

Work Schedule:

Up to two days of remote work and three days (or more) onsite per week.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. CalPERS does not participate in E‑Verify for employment authorization purposes.

Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025)

Special Requirements Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
