Pay Range$95,820 - $117,312 Annually

Job DescriptionWe have an opening for a Subcontract Administration Support Section (SASS) Analyst. You will perform a variety of procurement and subcontracting administration activities, including administering invoice payments and closeout activities for purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. You will interact with suppliers, various internal departments, and customers. This position is in the Procurement Department in the Business Directorate.
This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week, after a probationary period. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization.
You will
- Administer cost reimbursable subcontracts of varying complexity from award to completion, ensuring invoiced costs are consistent with the terms of the subcontract and subcontract closeout requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Answer customer and supplier questions regarding basic purchasing process, primarily focused on invoicing and closeout.
- Maintain all supporting documentation for orders and subcontracts to ensure completeness of procurement files.
- Apply and interpret established procurement policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with basic policies and procedures.
- Analyze data and a variety of factors to develop solutions and solve issues and questions.
- Solve subcontracting problems that are diverse and multi-faceted; analyze multiple factors and techniques to develop independent and practical solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience interpreting and applying standard business practices, and established procurement principles, policies and procedures.
