CAPEX Procurement Consulting Lead

We are The Fountain Group, a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a CAPEX Procurement Consulting Lead for a prominent client of ours. This position is based in Brooklyn Park, MN
. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $73–$80/hour to start
• Duration: 12-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
• Work Location: Fully remote

• Lead end-to-end project procurement activities, including RFP development, supplier selection, negotiations, contract execution, and purchase order management for large CAPEX projects.
• Partner with engineering, project management, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliant, timely, and cost-effective sourcing aligned with project schedules and procurement policies.
• Manage supplier performance and commercial outcomes, track savings and KPIs, maintain procurement documentation, and close contracts through project completion.

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of related procurement experience required.
• Proven experience supporting CAPEX projects required.
• Demonstrated end-to-end procurement experience required.
• Strong background in contracting, negotiations, and stakeholder management required.
• Experience with e-sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP) and purchasing systems (e.g., Coupa) required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience with in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry required.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments highly preferred.
