This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Sales. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team of Account Executives, driving business and revenue initiatives to ensure the success of our sales strategy. Your leadership will foster a collaborative environment, enhancing team performance while managing key metrics to measure success.
You will also be involved in forecasting and strategy for large accounts, ensuring alignment with various support teams while cultivating relationships with external partners.
- Report directly to the VP of International Sales and manage a team of 5-7 Account Executives
- Drive, manage, and execute the business and revenue strategies of the sales team
- Foster a collaborative environment for team growth and learning
- Create and improve onboarding processes for Account Executives
- Prepare forecasts and growth plans focused on territory management
- Establish performance metrics to assess team success
- Ensure alignment with marketing, customer success, BDR, sales engineering, and customer engineering
- Develop strategy for the largest customer accounts
- 6+ years of experience selling a technical product, preferably in open source, Dev Ops, or security
- 3+ years of experience managing high-performing software sales teams
- Experience working with CSP marketplaces
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding performance objectives and revenue targets
- Experience selling to Fortune
500 companies and willingness to take an active role - Existing relationships with Enterprise customers in the DACH region
- Proficient in CRM and marketing automation systems
- Strong judgment and ability to adapt to changing environments
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with growth or hyper-growth stages
- Ability to travel as needed
