Responsibilities- Manages transaction cycle time (TCT) from Ready to Process to Funding Approval, ensuring timeliness and quality of funding approval.
- Coordinates and manages the hiring, training, mentoring, performance, continuous education, and career development of the Funding Specialist Team.
- Develops and maintains training materials, guides and progress reporting.
- Manages Funding Specialists; monitors productivity, quality, and compassion.
- Ensures productivity of Funding Specialist assignments and directs work order caseloads, shifting responsibilities when necessary.
- Coordinates temporary coverage to ensure all orders are worked timely with a high level of quality and compassion.
- Coordinates and shares Key Performance Indicators with direct report team and stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Calculates and requests bonus payment for direct report team on a monthly basis.
- Manages the credit exception process to expedite delivery when appropriate and directed.
- Resolves employee and client conflicts, escalating when resolution cannot be achieved.
- Handles payroll/administrative functions for all direct reports.
- Maintains personal continuing education related to job duties, including policies, NSM University courses, and payer updates.
- Meets minimum productivity and quality standards.
- Performs any related job duties assigned by the Division Funding Director and carries out all position expectations with minimal supervision.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
This position primarily operates in a work-from-home environment, with occasional office-based work. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies- 5 years of experience in complex rehab technology funding operations.
- 2 years of experience managing a minimum of 10 direct reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions, and governmental regulations.
