Inside Sales Team Lead

The Inside Sales Team Lead manages a team of Inside Sales Representatives across North America, ensuring profitable growth in sales and revenue through planning, execution, and team management. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager of the AMR Sales Team and is eligible for a remote work arrangement.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop an Inside Sales team to grow bookings and revenue, build a healthy pipeline, and improve conversion across assigned territories.
- Supervise and direct staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring execution of sales duties.
- Set goals and objectives for team members in accordance with regional and global sales strategy; identify and organize the customer base, deploy sales strategy, recommend and implement action plans, and share information internally.
- Analyze effectiveness of key initiatives, strategies, objectives, and goals using Danaher Business System tools.
- Provide sales forecasting, establish sales goals, and manage pipeline for the assigned territories leveraging Funnel Management.
- Work collaboratively with Field Application Scientific teams, Product Management teams, Commercial Excellence teams, and Sales Leadership teams to ensure sales targets are met.
- Demonstrate and uphold behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values and deliver the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to customers and business associates.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science or related discipline, or a business degree with relevant life science industry experience, or a Master’s degree in a life science field.
- 3+ years of Life Science sales experience preferred (remote or in‑person).
- Understanding of tactical and strategic sales skills and the progression of customers through the buying cycle.
- Occasional travel (10‑20%) required.
- Experience with Salesforce or other popular CRMs preferred.
- Molecular Biology or similar lab experience.
- Sales team management experience in custom product and/or one of the following domains: NGS, CRISPR, Synthetic Biology, or qPCR/dPCR.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $150,000, plus eligible bonus/incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees. A remote work arrangement is allowed for eligible candidates.
