Position: P2P Team Leader - 12 Months Contract

Colchester office (Colchester, England, United Kingdom)

Contract:

12‑month fixed term, hybrid working format (3 days in office mandatory)

Reporting to the EMEA Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) Manager, this role offers an opportunity to take full ownership of the P2P process and lead the P2P team.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the single point of contact for a group of business units, local operations, and line‑of‑business support in delivery of high‑impact accounts payable processes.
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of supported businesses, AP policies and processes.
  • Possess strong knowledge on Master Data Management, AP Ledger review, and month‑end close.
  • Create and present dashboards to senior leaders.
  • Take ownership of vendor and business issues, follow problems through to resolution, working closely with the business, GPOs, Internal Control Team and offshore team.
  • Maintain accurate records and document actions and discussions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer‑oriented relationships across Finance and key functional groups such as Tax, Treasury, Audit, IT, Sourcing and Compliance.
  • Apply knowledge of Balance Sheet/AP Ledger.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture and customer‑service driven culture.
  • Improve self and team performance.
  • Understand P2P process controls and audits.
Qualifications
  • Experienced AP/P2P Team Leader with ability to manage a large, geographically dispersed team.
  • Excellent communication skills at all stakeholder levels.
  • Positive, results‑driven attitude.
  • Strong ownership of tasks and achievements.
  • Preferential knowledge of SAP and Oracle ERPs.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
