We are launching a new product line and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive its growth and success.
Job DescriptionAs the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and growth of a new line of business. You will focus on generating new leads, forging strategic partnerships, and driving sales through cold calls, client meetings, and site visits. Your performance will be tracked against KPIs, and you will be expected to utilize CRM systems to ensure the success of the new venture.
This role requires a proactive, self-driven individual who is comfortable working in a startup environment and taking the initiative to close deals and refine product offerings.
- Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach and networking
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to showcase the new product offering/ product placement with new and existing hosts
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Negotiate and draft agreements with new clients
- Utilize CRM tools to track progress, manage client relationships, and meet KPIs
- Manage client and host accounts after product placement
- Report on sales activities, performance, and business development progress
- Develop and grow the business model, sales funnel and client/host partnerships
- 2-3 years of proven experience in sales or business development, ideally in a startup or go-to-market (GTM) environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret P&L statements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and closing deals
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Hub Spot, Salesforce) and Excel
- Pay $70,000 - $75,000 + Commission
