We are a values driven organization that's seeking a remote Product Manager to support and contribute to our mission. The child care services our families depend upon are heavily impacted by the Product Manager position, and seamless, steady, service is not just valued but expected. The Product Manager leads product management for CCAoA's suite of custom software, with a particular focus on Military Program products.

This role involves defining product vision, prioritizing user needs, incorporating user feedback, negotiating requirements with internal stakeholders, collaborating on solutions with engineering, cultivating a product backlog, and acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders and cross-functional team(s). The Product Manager plays a key role in enhancing the digital experience for military families and providers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Being a voice of our 'why' and helping our teams remain aligned with that purpose
  • Define and communicate the product vision for Military Program products
  • Prioritize user needs and incorporate user feedback into product development
  • Negotiate requirements with internal stakeholders and collaborate on solutions with engineering and design
  • Cultivate and maintain product backlog(s)
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and cross-functional team(s)
  • Aid in the promotion of human-centered design
  • Identify opportunities for business process redesign and optimization
  • Conduct discovery and develop user stories for key features and products for delivery
  • Identify opportunities for business process optimization using automation or process redesign
  • Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success

Job Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working in Product Management
  • Proven experience in product management, particularly in web solutions and Military Program products
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design and business process optimization
  • Effective systems thinking and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with agile methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across practices and with internal stakeholders
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products and experience with software product development team tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and related tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
