Job Description POSITION SUMMARYManage and oversee customer implementation, monitoring, and support processes and procedures supporting the Enhanced Risk Payments program. Responsible for development, execution and quality control of software application specifications, application upgrades and impact on operations and software users.
Salary Range: $85,000-$130,000 /annually
RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS/GOALS- Responsible for overseeing projects supporting the development and implementation of the Enhanced Risk Payments program at the direction of the AVP of Payments and Technology.
- Consult with the AVP regarding the training and development of employees supporting the Enhanced Risk Payments program.
- Review policies and procedures for efficiency and assure operational practices are properly established for the Enhanced Risk Payments program. Coordinate implementation of new policies and procedures to enhance program efficiency and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide training as needed for systems utilized by the Operations department for payment processing.
- Research new external developments or ideas that would affect operations, through trade and other publications and occasional outside visits or meetings.
- Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
* When working hybrid, the off-site work environment requires access to an internet connection and a dedicated, private, professional space to hold video conference meetings and perform work tasks. A manager may at any time change the parameters of their employee’s hybrid working location, dates and/or times.
Additional things to keep in mind- Dress Code. Adherence to bank dress code is required for all client meetings whether in person or via video conferencing.
- End-user computer polices. It is important for employees to remember that all mobile device and end-user computer policies, procedures, and protocols that exist in the office are still in force when working remotely.
- Confidentiality. Due to the confidential nature of banking, printing client related documents remotely is strictly prohibited. It is also important to hold all meetings in a private space.
- Frequent and consistent check-ins. Communication between manager and employee is critical for both parties to discuss workload, issues, successes etc. Err on the side of over-communicating.
- Face-to-face or voice-to-voice. Don’t rely on email for communication. A phone call or Zoom meeting is needed on a regular basis. The timing of check-ins can vary from daily to bi-weekly to weekly but should always be consistent.
- Remote worker availability. Employees working remotely will need to be available for in-person, Zoom, or conference call meetings during regular business hours.
- Responsiveness. Responding to customer and employee requests is more important than ever in a remote work environment. Calls and emails must be returned in a timely manner.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of item processing, ACH processing, merchant card acquiring systems and bank operations.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products.
- Ability to use analytical skills to solve practical and technical problems and work with a variety of concrete and unknown variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individual and groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
