Overview
Build-To-Rent Account Manager | Home Made. Home Made is an institutional-grade leasing platform for the UK’s Build-to-Rent sector. We partner with owners and operators to improve asset performance through faster lease-up, optimised pricing, and reduced operational complexity.
We are hiring a Build-to-Rent Account Manager to take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of high-value client accounts, acting as the commercial and operational lead from mobilisation through stabilisation and ongoing delivery. This role is designed for a real estate professional who wants accountability, senior exposure, and clear ownership of outcomes.
Role pre-requisite
:
Applicants must have prior experience in real estate (BtR, lettings, sales, commercial, or adjacent). Direct lettings experience is not essential.
You will be the single point of accountability for your client portfolio, responsible for performance, delivery, and relationships. This is not a traditional lettings role. It combines commercial judgement, account leadership, data-driven insight, and delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Client & portfolio ownership – Own senior client relationships across a portfolio of Build-to-Rent developments. Act as a considered, credible partner to investors and operators, advising on leasing strategy, market positioning, and performance optimisation. Represent Home Made with confidence at client and senior stakeholder level.
- Commercial & performance leadership – Take accountability for leasing performance across assets, including pace, conversion, and outcomes. Assess market conditions and estimated rental values to inform pricing and go-to-market strategy. Translate performance data into clear insight, recommendations, and forward plans.
- Sales funnel & delivery oversight – Own the end-to-end sales funnel for each account, ensuring best-in-class execution across teams. Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities, driving improvements through structured action. Ensure consistency and quality of delivery across multiple sites and stages.
- Marketing & launch strategy – Shape tailored marketing strategies for each development in partnership with internal teams. Monitor campaign performance and refine tactics to maximise demand and conversion. Lead mobilisation and launch phases to ensure commercially effective delivery.
- Leadership & collaboration – Train and guide junior sales teams during site launches and mobilisation. Work closely with Customer Success, Leasing, Marketing, and senior leadership to align priorities. Act as a culture and values carrier, setting high standards internally and externally.
