We're looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our Analytics & Reporting team-an expert function responsible for transforming customer, operational, commercial and market data into the insight that powers some of our most important decisions.
You’ll be part of a highly respected team that plays a key role in shaping strategy, governance and customer focused decision making. About the role- Deliver high quality analysis and reporting that supports customer outcomes and strategic goals.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for a range of stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance dashboards and self service reporting solutions using modern analytical tools.
- Monitor data quality, escalate issues, and support governance and regulatory reporting needs.
- Work collaboratively with teams across Customer Insights, Customer Outcomes and wider business functions.
- Contribute to strategic programmes, customer lifestage analysis and insight that drives better customer experiences.
- Ensure all analytics adhere to rigorous risk, governance and documentation standards.
- Experience analysing large datasets and delivering clear, actionable insight.
- Understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory or customer outcome frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of customer behaviour, journeys and how customers interact with products/services.
- Proficiency with analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel), with interest in developing advanced skills (AI/ML/Data Science).
- Strong communication skills - able to simplify complexity and tailor messaging to different audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines.
- Curious, analytical and committed to continuous learning.
- Passionate about using data to drive meaningful change and improve customer outcomes.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and providing insight based recommendations.
- Resilient, proactive and able to work effectively in ambiguity.
