Morgan Philips is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Operations Coordinator to join a dynamic team in the Energy sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient supply chain operations and supporting various projects aimed at delivering exceptional service to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of supply chain processes, and a passion for working in the industry.
Please note that this role is predominantly office based, with one day per week working from home.
- Coordinate the supply chain operations to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and project management to support project execution.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to minimize disruptions in operations.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, orders, and deliveries using inventory management systems.
- Communicate with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Support project teams in planning and executing procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Assist in the development of supply chain policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience in supply chain management or operations coordination, preferably within oil and gas / liquids.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools, with a solid understanding of inventory management principles.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or procurement.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to the energy and / or liquids sector is advantageous.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.
