The Audio books team is scaling Spotify’s publisher ecosystem across Europe, with a focus on long-term, high-impact partnerships. In this role, you’ll own and grow strategic relationships with book publishers across France and Benelux, leading licensing strategy, commercial performance, and partner success on the platform. As the primary point of contact for your portfolio, you’ll shape how partnerships operate in practice — negotiating distribution terms, securing high-value catalog, and driving mutual growth.

You’ll work closely with product, operations, growth, editorial, and cost management teams to improve ways of working, enhance operational efficiency, and support regional expansion.

What You'll Do
  • Own and develop strategic partnerships with major and independent book publishers
  • Lead commercial conversations and licensing negotiations for audiobook distribution
  • Identify high-impact catalog opportunities that align with listener demand and regional strategy
  • Manage a dedicated licensing budget and make data-informed investment decisions
  • Partner closely with product, editorial, growth, operations, and cost management teams to drive execution
  • Use insights and performance data to shape partner strategy and conduct business reviews
  • Explore new partnership models that improve economics and unlock sustainable growth
  • Represent publisher perspectives internally to inform roadmap and strategic priorities
Who You Are
  • 3+ years of experience in publishing, digital media, partnerships, or a commercial content environment
  • You are experienced in managing publisher or rights-holder relationships
  • You know how to navigate commercial negotiations and licensing discussions
  • You have a strong understanding of the digital book or audiobook ecosystem
  • You are comfortable managing budgets and evaluating commercial trade-offs
  • You are analytically confident and use data to support decisions
  • You communicate clearly and build trust with both external partners and internal stakeholders
  • You bring a collaborative mindset and enjoy working across teams
  • You are fluent in English; additional language skills relevant to France or Benelux are a plus
Where You'll Be
  • This role is based in London
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.

Extensive learning opportunities, through our dedicated team, Green House.

Flexible share incentives letting you choose how you share in our success.

Global parental leave, six months off - for all new parents.

All The Feels, our employee assistance program and self-care hub.
