About the Role (indirect experience not essential)
My client is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to take the lead in managing indirect procurement activities across categories such as Marketing, HR, IT, Consulting, and Operating Supplies. Your focus will be on driving cost efficiencies, ensuring top supplier performance, and delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. You will also lead sourcing projects, foster collaboration, and champion process improvements and digital advancements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for categories (HR, Marketing, IT, etc.).
- Manage RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and monitor procurement KPIs.
- Build strong supplier relationships and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business needs.
- Drive regional/global project implementation and support compliance efforts.

- Experience in full E2E procurement (RFP & Tender experience required).
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools (SAP, Coupa) and Microsoft Office.
