What's the role?

The role is a full‑time position working with our clients based within the North East. Travel to client sites will be required, and we will consider part‑time applicants. Successful applicants must be able to travel and must have public sector tendering experience. The role sits within our Crescent Managed Services, offering procurement consultancy services to the education sector.

As a Procurement Specialist you will lead the process for procuring contracts across a variety of categories, including facilities, estates, finance, curriculum, ICT and other projects and services. You will embed best practice, efficiency and effectiveness within procurement processes, ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation and assisting us in achieving savings. You will report to the CPC Procurement Manager and provide a proactive and comprehensive service and advice on all aspects of procurement to all levels of personnel, managing relationships between our client and their diverse range of suppliers.

Specification

We are looking for someone with procurement experience within the public sector or the education sector and knowledge of public sector regulations, both under Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
