Ready to shape and own the global export strategy for a high-growth branded food & drink business? Do you have the distributor network and commercial acumen to unlock new markets across travel, hospitality and food service? Want to take full ownership of driving international growth and see your strategy delivered across key markets?

Mac Gregor Black are partnering with an FMCG (Food) Manufacturer on the search for an Export Manager. This is a permanent home-based UK role.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will define the export strategy, target markets, and key distribution partnerships, leveraging your experience in branded food & drink products and established network of contacts, to grow the client’s presence in non-retail channels such as travel, hospitality, and food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the export growth strategy, including target regions, customers, and channels.
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors and international partners, leveraging an existing network.
  • Design market entry models considering regulatory, taxation, currency, and logistics factors.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless export execution.
  • Identify and grow non-retail channels, such as travel, hospitality and food service.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, compliance, and risk management.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven track record in export or international business development within branded food & drink products.
  • Established network of distributors and industry contacts in target international markets.
  • Strong commercial understanding, including pricing, contracts, regulatory compliance, taxation, and currency exposure.
  • Skilled in market entry strategy, channel development, and business growth planning.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented approach to driving international growth.
