The RoleAs Operations hire for Gigs for Work
, you’ll bring a sharp systems thinking and product mindset to the role. You’ll design the operating system for Gigs for Work, playing a critical role in identifying the highest-leverage problems, building scalable processes and tooling, and continuously iterating based on data and feedback.
You’ll work directly with Product and GTM to turn vision into execution, translating ambiguity into scalable systems, tooling, and repeatable workflows.
This is a unique opportunity to build out operations that orchestrate between our supply-side contracts, product complexities, and customer demands. You’ll shape the trajectory of a fast-growing startup by building Gigs for Work operations function from the ground up.
What you will doYou will go through the motions of continually automating, building systems, and leveraging improvements to add operational efficiency gains and unlock more value.
- Design and ship operational workflows like a product: define requirements, map journeys, identify failure modes, and iterate based on metrics and feedback.
- End‑to‑end operational ownership for our Gigs for Work vertical, working cross‑functionally between Connectivity, Product and Go To Market.
- Manage external accounts across 50+ carriers, including:
- Launching new countries and carriers, enabling customer adoption.
- Commercial negotiation, feature requests, and partnership development.
- Operational implementations, runbooks, and automations.
- Build operational systems and tooling to eliminate manual work across carrier onboarding, issue resolution, and ongoing account management.
- Operational DRI working daily with the Product Owner of Gigs for Work to ensure operational backbone to help scale our customers.
- Champion the user journey and Gigs products to preempt issues and troubleshoot errors.
- Scale systems across the Gigs org by creating documentation, cross‑functional work‑streams, and up‑skilling Gigs teams in the details of Gigs for Work systems, from Support and Go To Market.
- Success will entail turning manual, fragmented workflows into automated, measurable systems that scale across customers, carriers, and countries.
- 5+ years of experience in a high‑performance environment in roles such as Product Operations, Biz Ops and Strategy & Operations at a fast‑scaling tech company.
- Proven track record of tackling unstructured problems and building automated operations from 0 to 1.
- Strong grasp of platform products and analytical problem‑solving skills; you’re comfortable modeling in Excel and wrangling data in tools like Looker or SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can drive alignment and clarity across internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to find and build efficiency gains in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative, low‑ego mindset and the ability to influence without authority.
- You’re a proven operator with the chops to automate complexities away.
