Team/Role OverviewCiti Markets, Business Execution / Chief of Staff Office is a dedicated team responsible for driving business execution working closely with the Markets Head, Chief Operating Officer and other Markets leaders. The role requires significant interaction across the entire Markets business and with our functional partners including Finance, Risk, Technology, Human Resources. Responsibilities of the team include:
- Business planning:
Supporting business reviews, earnings presentation, annual planning, goal setting, etc - Strategy:
Developing business growth plans over short- to medium-term and managing strategic risk - Expense management:
Enabling Markets to meet target through managing delivery of initiatives such as location strategy, third-party management, etc - Human Capital:
Ensuring Markets has the talent and culture to succeed - Communication:
Supporting internal communications, such as Townhalls and Markets-wide memos
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join the team, offering a unique opportunity to gain exposure and rapidly develop through working on initiatives across Markets. Activities include but not limited to:
- Data analysis & synthesis:
Perform comprehensive analysis and synthesis of data and information. This involves extracting key insights, identifying trends, and drawing clear, concise conclusions - Presentation development:
Create / update high-quality, senior management-ready presentation materials based on provided inputs and strategic storylines. This responsibility includes ensuring meticulous accuracy, clarity, and visual appeal. - Process coordination:
Facilitate and drive processes where input required from other teams. This involves requesting for information/input, diligent follow-up, and critically evaluating incoming data and contributions to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Ad-hoc support:
Provide flexible and responsive support on various ad-hoc tasks, presentations, documentation and administrative assistance as required by the team and senior leadership.
- Demonstrable experience in relevant financial services environment, ideally gained in a top tier consulting supporting financial institution clients on strategic, operational or regulatory engagements
- Proven ability to remain agile and adaptable in high-pressure environments, including managing shifting priorities, tight deadlines and complex stakeholder expectations
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of producing accurate, high-quality deliverables
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite; particularly Excel (data manipulation), PowerPoint (storyboarding and executive ready materials)
- Highly collaborative and effective at building an internal network, with ability to influence stakeholders
- Strong academic background with a degree from a leading university, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and commitment to continuous learning
