Customer Support Administrator; Plant

Overview

Are you ready to play a key role in keeping projects moving across the UK? We’re looking for a Plant & Customer Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Balfour Beatty based in Thurnscoe.

• Coordinate plant hire requests and breakdowns for projects nationwide.
• Source and arrange operated and non-operated plant items, prioritising internal fleet utilisation.
• Manage orders, off-hires, and breakdowns through our call management system.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ensure all requests are fulfilled within SLA guidelines and resolve any queries promptly.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and maximise efficiency.

• Experience in a administrative or customer-focused role.
• Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership and deliver tasks to agreed deadlines.
