We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Procurement Assistant to join our clients team and provide exceptional procurement support across the business on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities Provide procurement support and guidance to the UK business in line with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate vendor information within the ERP system (Microsoft Navision). Monitor and review Vendor Payment Terms to ensure data accuracy. Manage the relationship with our SSIP provider (Alcumus) and ensure contractor compliance with Safe Contractor and SafePQQ. Review and map end-to-end procurement processes.

Assist with the administration of company vehicles and cash allowance schemes. Create and set up new vendors within the system. Review vendors based on usage, category, and risk. Work with the procurement team to analyse spend, pricing, discounts, and rebates. Maintain regular communication with vendors to ensure system information remains up to date. Monitor and report on spend via the Adhoc account.

Requirements :
Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Procurement Assistant, or similar role. Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work at pace and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
