Delegated Oversight Manager

An opportunity to join a leading global reinsurer, known for combining data, experience, and technology to tackle the world's most complex risks. Our client seeks a Delegated Oversight Manager to lead and shape their Delegated Underwriting Services function. This is a senior leadership role at the heart of our delegated authority operations. Reporting to the Head of Delegated Underwriting Services, you will have oversight of pre-bind and post-bind governance, claims, and audit functions, driving consistency, quality, and compliance across the board.

You will act as the key escalation point for the delegated authority stakeholder community, including brokers, coverholders, and internal partners, and represent the organisation in London Market forums. Day-to-day, you will consolidate findings across service streams, communicate trends and breaches clearly to senior stakeholders, and champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in delivering our delegated underwriting strategy, working closely with service managers and contributing to system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

You will have proven experience in a delegated underwriting oversight or management role, a strong grasp of London Market practices and systems and the confidence to present complex findings to senior audiences. You will be highly organised, comfortable with constructive challenge, and equally at home working autonomously or collaboratively. Experience supporting system implementations or credit control reporting within delegated arrangements would be a bonus.
