Overview

The Student Voice Coordinator role is an entry-level role within the Student Voice and Representation team. The role requires you to support our student representatives, work with our student members to drive initiatives, projects and campaigns to create impact and change, and assist in the smooth running of our academic representation system. The Student Voice Coordinator role will work closely with the Student Voice and Representation Manager to support our Academic Rep system, our Democratic structures and flagship SU campaigns, projects and events.

Salary: From £29,729 to £33,093 per annum, plus excellent benefits including holidays and a contributory pension scheme.

Hours: Full-time 35 hours per week. Some evening or weekend work will be required from time to time and will be agreed in advance.

Location: 2 days per week working from home, 3 days per week from Warwick Students’ Union, Gibbet Hill Road, Coventry, CV4 7AL
. This will be subject to change depending on needs of the business. Occasional off-site working is required.

Interview Date: Thursday, 2 July 2026. Interviews will be held on the University of Warwick Campus, Coventry.

The role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with elected Officers, student representatives, members and colleagues to ensure that student involvement is relevant and enacted throughout organisation’s democratic and academic representation structures and project plans.
  • To provide strategic advice and practical support to our elected Officers and student representatives to deliver their campaigns and manifesto priorities, ensuring they align with the organisation’s long term strategy.
  • To support the delivery of high impact student engagement, democratic and academic representation systems that empower students to shape their experience and create meaningful change.
  • Nurture and develop relationships and networks with members, Officers, SU colleagues, the University and other stakeholders to strengthen the impact of the democratic and academic representation structures within the Students’ Union.
