Procurement Assistant Band 3 Job overview
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
Main duties of the jobAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the new team providing the Procurement service to Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent and Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICB.
Working closely with senior procurement colleagues, this is a varied role managing day‑to‑day purchasing activity, supporting stakeholders and helping to drive compliance, efficiency and cost savings – all while developing your skills within a supportive, forward‑thinking procurement team.

Personspecification Experience
- Experience of working in a Procurement Environment
- Previous experience of E Procurement systems
- Previous Public Sector Experience
- Good Level of education (minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English Language & Mathematics)
- Ability to plan own workload

- Skilled Worker visas cannot currently be issued to Afghan nationals.
- Study visas cannot currently be issued to nationals of Afghanistan, Cameroon, Myanmar or Sudan.
