Business Development Manager (Oilfield Chemicals)

Fully Remote UK / Europe / Middle East

£85,000 - £100,000 Negotiable DOE + Bonus + all expenses paid + international travel + working for global market & technical leader in its field

Are you a Senior Business Development manager from the Oilfield Chemicals industry looking to be at the forefront of growth and innovation for a technical world leader in specialty chemicals?

Would you like to play a key part in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and cultivating long-term client relationships that will drive the success of chemical formulation for the oil industry?

Would you like a role with a global leader that includes IOCs such as BP, Royal Dutch Shel, and Exxon Mobil in its client list?

On offer is a unique role for someone with experience in oil production chemicals to enhance customer engagement across the sector and align product innovation more closely with market needs.

You will be a widely experienced Business Development Manager with experience in oil production chemicals who is passionate about growth and excels at building relationships, combining analytical rigour with commercial insight, and can demonstrate persistence and adaptability in any environment.

The company is the world's technical leader in specialty chemicals and engineering solutions, supplying key chemicals and production solutions to a wide range of customers operating in the upstream oil and gas, automotive, and industrial sectors.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities that align with company objectives
  • Use market analysis to inform future business strategies and contribute to product and service development
  • Strengthen and build relationships across Oil and Gas
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Lead client acquisition efforts by following up on leads, preparing detailed business proposals, and negotiating contracts to close deals
  • Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, and conferences

The person:

  • Proven experience in a Business Development role within Oilfield Chemicals, ideally with flexibility across multiple disciplines
