We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with public sector experience.
OrganisationCrescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is a not‑for‑profit charity that provides procurement services to the education sector, including compliant frameworks and consultancy.
What’s the role?The role is full‑time or part‑time, based in Bournemouth and Dorset and surrounding areas, with regular travel to client sites.
- Lead the procurement process for a variety of categories, including facilities, estates, finance, curriculum, ICT and other projects.
- Drive best practice, efficiency and effectiveness within procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with UK procurement regulations and the Procurement Act 2023.
- Provide proactive advice to all levels of personnel and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Work with the Procurement Manager and the Crescent Managed Services team.
- Public sector or education sector procurement experience.
- Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and UK procurement regulations.
- Experience in public sector tendering.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Salary up to £45,000 FTE per annum, depending on experience.
