This 12‑month fixed‑term contract is designed for an individual seeking an internship and eager to gain meaningful, hands‑on experience in Sales with an innovative and progressive Top 5 global automotive manufacturer. We also welcome applications from recent graduates who are looking to build their commercial experience in a practical, business-facing role.
The role offers the opportunity to provide analytical, operational and administrative support to the Sales function, while developing experience in sales planning, reporting and cross‑functional coordination. Working alongside experienced colleagues, the successful candidate will play an important part in supporting accurate reporting, informed decision‑making and continuous improvement across the wider Sales team.
ResponsibilitiesDealer Performance & Reporting
Help maintain dealer visit reporting and track performance across the network.
Spot trends, highlight opportunities, and support actions that improve sales and stock utilisation.
Work with the team to keep dealer performance reviews consistent and impactful.
Area Sales Manager Support (Supply & Forecast Tracking)
Support Area Sales Managers by tracking vehicle supply, forecasts, and delivery performance.
Identify risks, delays, and gaps in forecast accuracy, then help turn this into clear insight.
Play a part in resolving supply issues and supporting strong dealer conversations.
Sales Planning & Reporting
Support the Field Team with sales forecasts, plans, and performance reporting.
Help maintain planning tools and provide insight on risks, opportunities, and progress against targets.
Data Analysis & Insight
Analyse sales and dealer data to uncover insights and improvement opportunities.
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that help bring the data to life.
Sales Operations Support
Prepare materials for sales meetings, business reviews, and presentations.
Process & System Management
Help improve sales tools, systems, and processes while keeping data accurate and reliable.
Spot opportunities for automation and smarter ways of working.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with field teams and dealers to support projects and continuous improvement.
Contribute ideas that improve planning accuracy and day‑to‑day effectiveness.
