At Animal Friends Insurance, we believe in having fun, working hard, and always striving for the best. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Business Analyst to join our IT function on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You'll be stepping into a collaborative and supportive team environment, where your work will directly champion our customers and ensure we deliver good outcomes for both them and their pets.
The Role:Meaningful Projects with Real Impact
- You will provide strategic business analysis to our business teams.
- You will lead small to mid‑size projects and assist colleagues on larger, more complex initiatives.
- You will help deliver exciting new products and features across our digital, transactional, and management information systems.
- You will review end‑to‑end business processes to identify efficiency opportunities and address technological, operational, and financial risks.
- You will act as a vital liaison between IT and Operations to gather the business requirements needed for system enhancements and modifications.
- You will be responsible for managing changes right through to delivery.
- You will co‑ordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful implementations.
Skills & Experience
- You have analysis experience working within the financial sector.
- You are used to working on both small and medium‑scale projects.
- You bring previous experience of Scrum Agile development, which includes writing Epics, features, and user stories.
- You are skilled in analysing and improving customer journey processes, such as customer portals, digitisation, and mobile applications.
- You have strong Microsoft Excel skills to analyse transactions and customer behaviour.
- You possess excellent problem‑solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
