Operations Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We’re looking for an experienced and customer‑focused Team Leader (Electrical and Facilities) to join our team, leading the delivery of electrical services across our homes in Yorkshire.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements, while supporting your team to deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
What will you be doing?You’ll be responsible for overseeing a team delivering electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations.
Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you’ll manage day‑to‑day operations, monitor performance, and support your team to deliver excellent results.
Your role will combine leadership, operational oversight, and technical support to ensure services are efficient, compliant, and customer focused.
You’ll also:
- Lead and support a team of electricians and operatives
- Oversee day‑to‑day service delivery and workload management
- Monitor performance, set targets, and drive improvements
- Ensure all work is compliant with regulations and safety standards
- Carry out quality checks, audits, and performance reviews
- Support training, coaching, and development of team members
- Manage customer issues and complaints effectively
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders
- Support resource planning and operational improvements
This is a fast‑paced and varied role where you’ll combine leadership and technical expertise to deliver a high‑performing service. This is a Agile job, in which you will be out and about, at the office and working from home.
Who are we looking for?We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, confident leading others, and focused on delivering great service.
You’ll bring:
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical services
- Relevant electrical qualifications, including inspection and testing
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Knowledge of compliance and health and safety standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing performance and improving services
- A proactive and solution‑focused approach
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A strong commitment to customer service
We offer an excellent salary of £46,659 plus £2,000 car allowance per year (35 hours a week), plus 26 days annual leave (rising each year to 31 days) plus bank holidays.
