Children and Young People Project Officer

This role will require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Your Role
  • Support delivery of the #Bee Well programme, with a particular focus on school engagement and project coordination.
  • Provide high‑quality project and administrative support, including planning meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and maintaining action logs across a breadth of CYP programmes.
  • Help develop newsletters, web content and social media communications to share impact, learning and opportunities for involvement.
  • Work with partners across Greater Manchester, including local authorities, health partners, voluntary sector organisations and young people themselves.
  • Maintain project documentation, track progress and support effective governance, reporting and delivery.
  • Contribute to events, engagement activity and partnership working that helps turn insight into action for young people’s wellbeing.
About You
  • Experience in project support, coordination or delivery, ideally within a public service, community or children and young people context.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high‑quality project documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear and engaging content for a range of audiences.
  • Confidence in building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A commitment to listening to and involving young people in shaping services and activity.
  • Good digital skills, including use of standard office software and Canva; experience with communications tools or website editing would be an advantage.
