The roleWe are looking to recruit two Unscheduled Care Service Improvement Managers to join a team of three, providing Unscheduled Care support and performance improvement across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will have responsibility for supporting a designated Sector while being managed centrally to deliver Board‑wide improvement initiatives.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern- This is a full‑time post working 36 hours per week
- We have two posts available, one permanent and one secondment; duration of secondment is 12 months
- You will work these hours Monday to Friday
- You will be based at J Board HQ, Gartnavel Royal Hospital, G12 0XH
. - This post is a Board‑wide role, with travel expected across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
You will provide support around Unscheduled Care and the Discharge Without Delay Programme, responding to service demands as required. They will focus on a designated Sector while working as part of a centrally managed team, contributing to performance improvement initiatives and supporting the delivery of Board‑wide Unscheduled Care objectives.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job- Significant experience of working within Unscheduled Care services.
- Proven experience of delivering Unscheduled Care improvement programmes.
- Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies within healthcare.
- Understanding of the Discharge Without Delay Programme and associated service improvement principles.
- Ability to support service improvement across multiple sectors within a Board‑wide role.
