Job Description & How to Apply Below

Business Banking is one of the fastest‑growing and most energised parts of our organisation and we’re looking for a team‑focused, commercially minded Business Change Manager to join our Commercial Operations Team. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, love solving complex problems, and want to play a key role in supporting dynamic change, this is your next big opportunity.

Business Banking is accelerating, and you’ll be joining a community that is ambitious, innovative, and deeply committed to working together to deliver great outcomes. This role places you in the Commercial Operations Colleague Enablement Team, giving you the opportunity to influence how we operate, strengthen how we work together, and drive meaningful change for customers and colleagues.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, empowered to lead change at pace and champion ways of working that bring teams together and help them perform at their best.

The role is within the Commercial Operations Colleague Enablement Team, which is part of Business Banking. You will play a key role in delivering operational and process improvements and efficiencies alongside other Business Change Managers, focussing on change that improves performance, customer, and colleague experience.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Northampton office. We offer hybrid working wherever possible and support generous access to home working.

What you’ll be doing

On a day‑to‑day basis, you will be an integral part of the Commercial Operations Team, delivering operational and process improvements alongside other Business Change Managers. You will drive continuous improvement across process, people and change by identifying, planning, and leading key change initiatives through to successful implementation, ensuring change lands on time and with high quality. Focusing on change that improves performance, customer and colleague experience, you will create sustainable and consistent ways of working that support teams to deliver brilliantly.

You will develop change management plans for identified change projects, which will include modernising and updating our processes and ways of working, building trusted partnerships across Business Banking, Finance, Credit Risk and other key stakeholders to support joined‑up decision making, align goals, address challenges and ensure effective communication throughout the change process.

You will project manage, assess risks, and deliver training and support to teams impacted by change, demonstrate adaptability, strategic thinking, and a commitment to drive positive outcomes. Possessing a knowledge of the Control Framework, ensuring compliance through delivery. Maintain oversight of all local initiatives and ensure alignment with wider programmes, bringing teams together around a shared picture of progress and priorities and solve a wide range of operational challenges through structured analysis, continuous improvement, and strong cross‑team relationships.
