The National Sales Support Manager will provide consistent, high impact support across Scope’s Retail Operation, focusing on engagement, training, onboarding and the delivery of national commercial initiatives.

The role will work at a national level to build capability, support performance improvement and deliver agreed projects that contribute to sustainable income growth and a consistent experience for colleagues and customers.

Permanent, full time (35 hours a week)

Location:
Field based. Travel will be required as part of this role, along with opportunities for some home working.

Starting full-time salary £26,172.40 a year. The role also includes a £5,000 a year car allowance and £1,750 a year additional allowance

There are two roles available.

The Role

In this role, you’ll

  • Deliver training to shop teams and managers, supporting new initiatives (including eBay Live) and building capability through structured programmes.
  • Provide onboarding for new managers and ongoing support for colleagues stepping into new or evolving roles, particularly during periods of change.
  • Lead national commercial initiatives and use data-driven insights to improve shop performance through targeted support
  • Plan and deliver focused interventions in priority shops, addressing challenges and embedding sustainable improvements.
  • Support recruitment activity, including first-round interviews, where required.
  • Collaborate closely with Area Managers and Retail Support teams, planning activity at a national level to maximise impact, and sharing best practice across shops.

About you
  • Strong understanding of charity retail operations, with the ability to improve commercial performance using data, KPIs and targeted actions.
  • Experienced in designing and delivering engaging training, both face-to-face and digital, simplifying complex information into practical learning.
  • Skilled in coaching and supporting managers and teams to build confidence, embed new ways of working and sustain performance improvements.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple locations, managing priorities effectively and adapting approaches to different teams and environments.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, with strong planning and prioritisation skills to manage multiple initiatives and deliver results.
  • Confident using digital tools and supporting others to adopt new systems and ways of working.

Shop Hours

Scope shops are open every day.

  • Full-time: 35 hours per week, five days out of seven
  • Part-time: Weekly hours on a seven-day rota
