Job Description Amazon Category Manager - South Manchester Hybrid Working | Up to £55,000 Bonus We're recruiting an Amazon Category Manager for an award-winning business, one of Europe's leading licensed homeware and lifestyle businesses, working with some of the world's biggest brands including Disney, Warner Bros., Microsoft, Netflix, Nintendo, LEGO and Paramount. This is a newly created role where you'll own category performance across Amazon, acting like a Retail Buyer and treating Amazon as your storefront.
What you'll be doing:
The core responsibilities include:
Think and act like a retail buyer treating Amazon as the primary storefront while owning category performance end-to-end Be highly inquisitive with strong data analysis skills, able to interpret sales, margin, and performance data to generate actionable insights Demonstrate a strong interest in AI, Amazon marketplace trends, and digital retail innovation, applying new tools where relevant Drive category growth and profitability through insight-led decision making, pricing strategy, and range optimisation Own category and brand performance on Amazon, including identifying underperforming lines and implementing improvement actions Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform trading decisions and maintain competitiveness Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on availability, promotions, and growth plans
What we're looking for:
Background in Retail Category Management, Buying, Merchandising or Ecommerce Strong commercial and analytical skills Experience managing product ranges, sales and margin performance Advanced Excel and data analysis capability Ability to spot opportunities and build commercially viable product strategies
Experience with Amazon would be ideal but not essential What's on offer?
