Industrial Connected Talent is supporting a growing building fabric maintenance and refurbishment business in the search for a Graduate / Junior Commercial & Business Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to play an active role in growing a business rather than sitting in a traditional graduate position. Working directly with the Directors, you will gain exposure across business development, account management, commercial activity, operations, project coordination and business improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities for Graduate / Junior Commercial & Business ManagerAs Graduate / Junior Commercial & Business Manager, you will become involved in multiple areas of the business, supporting both commercial growth and operational improvement. You will be encouraged to bring new ideas, challenge existing processes and help shape the future direction of the business.
- Develop relationships with existing customers and support account management activity
- Identify and generate new business opportunities
- Attend client meetings and site visits
- Support quotations, commercial proposals and tender submissions
Coordinate projects alongside internal teams and subcontractors - Review existing business processes and recommend improvements
- Support workflow optimisation, reporting and business documentation
- Work closely with the Directors on strategic business projects
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, organised and proactive, with the confidence to work across multiple areas of a growing business. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and helping businesses operate more efficiently.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking ability
- Confidence managing multiple priorities at the same time
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership
- Experience with in construction, property, facilities management or building maintenance would be beneficial
- Account management, business development, process improvement or project coordination experience would be advantageous
