This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require little to no travel into our Coventry Head Office or Campus locations. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About our Department:

The Provost’s Office serves as the central hub for all academic-affairs, projects and initiatives throughout the University. This includes a Project Management, Change Management and Business Analysis function which plays a crucial role in ensuring success of academic and enhancement initiatives across Arden University. Our team provides expertise in planning, execution and transformation to ensure projects and initiatives align with objectives and goals.

the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Provost’s Office at the centre of the University’s strategic transformation. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Academic Affairs by turning complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions that drive meaningful change. Working closely with Product Teams, Academic Affairs leaders, and Professional Services, you will uncover business needs, translate them into high‑quality requirements specifications, and help deliver innovative improvements that enhance the experience of students and staff across the institution.

You will lead the discovery and analysis of new opportunities, champion smarter and more efficient processes, and provide trusted insight to senior decision‑makers, including the Provost and Product Owners. From early‑stage exploration through to testing, launch, and hypercare, you will be instrumental in ensuring that new systems and processes are robust, user‑centred, and aligned with the University’s long‑term vision. This role offers the chance to make a visible impact, influence strategic priorities, and contribute to a modern, forward‑thinking Academic Affairs environment where continuous improvement and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.

  • Proven Experience — Proven track record of relevant extensive work experience, demonstrating deep, specialised and/or broad knowledge of a field of work gained through experience in a series of progressively more complex roles.
  • Analytical Strength — Strong ability to analyse complex problems, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement — Confident working with senior leaders, cross‑functional teams, and diverse stakeholders to build alignment and drive outcomes.
  • Process Improvement — Skilled in mapping, evaluating, and enhancing processes to support efficiency, consistency, and strategic goals.
