Senior Bid Writer

Our client is a growing technical and engineering business with an expanding portfolio of high-value projects, frameworks and client opportunities. They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join the team and take ownership of a varied pipeline of bids and tender submissions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a technical environment, has strong commercial awareness and wants to play a key role in helping a growing business secure new work.

The Role Youll be responsible for managing and producing high-quality bids from initial opportunity through to final submission, working closely with technical, commercial and operational teams across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing bids and tender submissions from start to finish Writing, editing and coordinating high-quality bid responses Working with technical specialists and subject matter experts to gather relevant information Reviewing tender and framework requirements and developing effective response strategies Turning complex technical information into clear, compelling and persuasive content Coordinating contributions from multiple teams and managing submission deadlines Ensuring bids are accurate, compliant and commercially focused Supporting a range of clients, projects and framework opportunities Developing and improving bid processes, templates and best practice Working closely with senior stakeholders to support wider business development activity About You Were looking for an experienced Bid Writer, Senior Bid Writer, Bid Manager or Tender Specialist who is confident managing complex submissions and working independently.

Youll ideally have experience in:
Bid writing and/or bid management Framework and tender submissions Working within a technical, engineering, construction, infrastructure or consultancy environment Working with technical subject matter experts Managing multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Producing clear, persuasive and commercially focused written content Youll be highly organised, commercially aware and an excellent communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships across a business and get the best information from technical teams.
