Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Sustainable Funding Coordinator to support the delivery of funding and expansion initiatives across our organization. This pivotal role will support with bids and tenders, key business processes, facilitate relationships with local authorities and manage data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the uplift process for all three divisions Education, Supported Accommodation and Residential in-line with internal business protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with local authorities to support negotiation processes.
- Prepare and submit offer proposals to the internal decision-making panel for review and approval.
- Escalate issues and concerns as needed to Head of Pricing
- Provide direct support to the Bids and Contracts Manager, particularly in bid preparation and documentation, including managing the Tender Toolkit; identifying and monitoring opportunities via relevant procurement portals; attending pre-market engagement events; coordinating SQs, tender questionnaires and supporting documentation; liaising with internal SMEs; maintaining bid trackers and records; supporting tender drafting, quality assurance; and managing clarifications.
- Lead the Contract Audit project by auditing, updating, and maintaining historical and current contract records within Salesforce to ensure 100% data integrity
- Provide high-level ad-hoc administrative support to other managers as required.
Person Specification
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and driving solutions
- Strong project coordination and administrative skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships, especially within public sector or education settings
- High proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce desirable)
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working in education, social care, or non-profit environments
- Familiarity with funding or contract management processes
- Experience supporting or coordinating bid submissions
