- Attend and take accurate minutes and provide advice and guidance at governing board meetings.
- Ensure agendas and minutes are circulated within specified timescales.
- Be the first point of contact for governors/trustees in your allocated schools/academies to support with queries.
- Signpost governors/trustees to further advice and support where necessary.
- Help prepare agendas for governing board meetings.
- You will be supported by a central administration team and be provided with regular training, briefings and updates.
Skills:
- Proficient user of Microsoft packages, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Demonstrates an understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements in the workplace.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Professional and polite when dealing with colleagues and customers.
- You will be supplied with a laptop and all equipment needed to carry out the role.
- Zero hours contract, based from home with travel costs paid for site visits using own vehicle.
