About the role

This is a 37 hours per week role, which is hybrid with some office based work in Newport or surrounding areas to attend meetings but mostly from working from home. A 9 day fortnight (74 hours over 9 working days) is a possibility for this role also.

This is a busy and varied role where you’ll be at the heart of service delivery, ensuring care rotas are planned effectively and resources are deployed safely and efficiently.

You’ll also:

  • Manage and maintain care rotas and service information.
  • Respond quickly to changing staffing requirements and help ensure shifts are safely covered.
  • Support managers with reporting, data analysis and service planning.
  • Monitor agency usage, service delivery and compliance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams to help deliver the best possible outcomes for the people we support.
  • You’ll also play a key role in raising and processing invoices related to agency usage.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in administration, business support or customer service.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to work collaboratively while using your own initiative.
  • Experience of rota planning or electronic rostering systems would be an advantage.
