The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Scotland's largest healthcare provider, as a Senior Contracts and Finance Administrator within the Digital Services Contracts & Finance Team. This role offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of NHSGGC's ambitious Digital Strategy by supporting key procurement, contract management and financial tracking activities. Working across a wide range of clinical and corporate services, you will play a vital role in ensuring digital solutions and services are delivered effectively and provide maximum value for patients and staff.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
  • Full Time, Permanent
  • You will be based in Westward House, 15-17 St James Street, Paisley, PA3 2HJ
  • Working Pattern:
    Monday - Friday
Key responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor contracts, procurement activities and financial tracking processes across Digital Services
  • Support the delivery of the Digital Health Strategy through effective contract and procurement management
  • Work closely with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to support business and procurement requirements
  • Lead and coordinate contract management activities relating to IT equipment, software and digital services
  • Monitor supplier performance and support the continuous improvement of procurement and contract processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues on heatmap and lifecycle management activities to support digital service planning
  • Support building services administration and coordinate activities relating to on-site contractors where required
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
  • Degree educated with specific IT content, Procurement, Contract Management or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Significant experience working within a contracts, procurement or finance environment
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management principles and financial administration
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple departments and organisations
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively

    Proven ability to analyse information, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to service development initiatives
