We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Data Privacy Analyst to join our Data Privacy team in Basingstoke. You'll take our hybrid approach of working from home, and in the office 2 days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with data protection experience who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and delivering a high-quality customer-focused service with a collaborative approach.
What you'll be doing- Act as a key point of contact for data subjects, managing and responding to Data Subject Rights Requests (DSRs).
- Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Deputy DPO in maintaining compliance with data protection legislation.
- Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on data protection requirements and best practice.
- Help investigate and escape data protection incidents and potential breaches.
- Maintain data protection records, registers, policies, and compliance documentation.
- Support the delivery of privacy training, communications, and awareness initiatives across the business.
- Work collaboratively with teams across SNG to embed a strong culture of data protection and privacy.
- Experience working in a Data Protection, Privacy, Compliance, Governance, or similar environment.
- Good understanding of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and data subject rights.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgement, discretion, and a strong commitment to customer service.
