Job Description:

My client is recruiting for a motivated Business Development profession to join their expanding team. An award winning training academy based in the centre of Birmingham they believe in the power of learning and development to transform careers, teams, and organisations. Our goal is simple: to help people gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed while supporting businesses to grow, innovate, and thrive.

We work with employers and learners alike to create meaningful apprenticeship experiences that go beyond traditional training. By blending practical workplace learning with expert coaching, sector specific knowledge, and personal development, we ensure every learner and organisation reaches their full potential. The successful candidate will focus on outbound B2B sales activity to secure new business through various methods including phone calls, email, client meetings, networking and events.

The role involves maintaining strong communication with potential partners, developing business plans, and guiding employers in utilising apprenticeship offering, to meet workforce needs. Working alongside our Intake Consultants, you will also provide support to learners enabling them to be fully prepared for interviews and the commencement of employment. In addition, you will ensure that all compliance paperwork relevant to the apprentices’ workplace and employment is fully completed and compliant before the learners’ start date.

Experience

Required:

Experience in B2B Sales or Business Development and Lead Generation Strong Consulting and organisational skills Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently Experience in the apprenticeship or education industry is a plus. Additional Information All roles that involve daily use of display screen equipment are subject to regular assessment under HSE guidelines to ensure my client adheres to safe working practices.

Working Hours:

8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday. 8.30 - 4pm on Friday.
