Introduction: Arts Council England is the national development agency for creativity and culture. We invest in arts, museums and libraries, helping to ensure that creativity and culture can be enjoyed by everyone. We believe that culture brings people together, enriches communities and improves lives.

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Programme Coordinator to join our Enterprise & Innovation Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic team that supports organisational improvement, innovation and change across Arts Council England.

As part of a collaborative and nationally dispersed team, you will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders, support strategic programmes and help develop more effective ways of working. You'll contribute to a wide range of activities, from coordinating projects and managing information to supporting governance, reporting and business operations.

We offer a supportive and flexible working environment, a generous benefits package, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation that champions culture and creativity across England.

Role Details: This is a varied and rewarding coordination role supporting the day-to-day operation of the Enterprise & Innovation Directorate. Working closely with the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in helping projects, programmes and business activities run smoothly and effectively.

You will be someone who enjoys bringing structure and organisation to complex work. You'll coordinate activities across multiple priorities, maintain effective systems and processes, manage information and reporting, and provide high-quality support to meetings, governance activities and project delivery. You'll also help identify and implement improvements to ways of working, making the most of digital tools and Microsoft 365 technologies.

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative individual with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You'll be confident working with data, comfortable using digital systems, and able to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders. Experience in project coordination, operational support or business administration would be valuable, alongside an interest in continuous improvement and innovation.

This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, building effective relationships and helping teams deliver their objectives through excellent coordination, communication and organisational support.
