About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and innovative Director of Operations Strategy to lead the development and implementation of operational initiatives across their globally distributed teams, with a hub in Polokwane . This senior remote role is responsible for defining the future state of operations, driving significant improvements in efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with executive leadership to align operational strategy with overall business goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and articulate a clear, compelling operational strategy aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design and execution of strategic operational projects.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation and transformation in operational processes.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and new technologies to enhance operational performance.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
- Extensive experience in operations management, strategy development, and execution.
- Proven track record of leading complex operational transformations and delivering significant business impact.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and influencing abilities, adept at managing remote teams and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of operational frameworks, process optimization, and change management.
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
