About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Business Development Operations to join their team, supporting operations in Port Elizabeth. This critical role involves streamlining and optimizing the processes that support business development initiatives, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation, proposal management, and client engagement. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance our go-to-market strategies and operational workflows.
The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills, a keen understanding of sales operations, and the ability to drive process improvements in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational processes for the business development function, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Manage and oversee key operational projects related to sales enablement and market expansion.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to improve the effectiveness of business development strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including process maps and best practice guidelines.
- Utilize CRM and other sales tools to track progress, manage pipelines, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, sales operations, or business development support roles.
- Proven experience in managing projects and driving process improvements.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in remote or distributed teams.
