Company Description  RnDList is a no-frills marketplace designed to enable direct R&D collaboration among researchers, companies, IP owners, investors, and lab operators. The platform removes intermediaries, fees, and unnecessary friction so that the right people can easily discover each other and form meaningful technology partnerships. Inspired by a “Craigslist for R&D” model, RnDList focuses on being direct, transparent, and free of gatekeepers.

Listing on the platform is free during early access, with a long-term intent to keep access largely free for users.

Role Description  The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) will help shape and grow RnDList by identifying opportunities, testing new initiatives, and building scalable processes to support R&D collaboration. In this contract role, the EIR will conduct market research, engage with users and partners, validate product concepts, and design experiments to improve platform adoption and engagement. The EIR will collaborate closely with the founding team to define go-to-market strategies, create lean business models, and support fundraising or partnership discussions as needed.

This is a hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications

Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in building, launching, or scaling early-stage products or ventures.
Strong capability in market and user research, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and data-informed decision-making.
Proven skills in business strategy, lean startup methodologies, and partnership or ecosystem development.
Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders across research, industry, and investment communities.
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and independently driving projects from idea to execution.
Prior exposure to R&D, innovation ecosystems, or technology commercialization is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as business, engineering, science, or economics); advanced degrees are a plus but not required.
Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai, with availability for regular in-person collaboration.
