About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Insurance Business Analyst to join their team, operating remotely from their Sandton hub. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, analyzing business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications for system enhancements and new initiatives. This position is vital for optimizing processes and driving innovation within the Gauteng insurance landscape.

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure the accurate implementation of business requirements.
• Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support end-users during system rollouts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations within the insurance lifecycle.
• Prepare project documentation, including business cases, requirements traceability matrices, and status reports.
• Support product development and strategic initiatives through detailed analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
