About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Partnerships Development Officer to forge and nurture strategic alliances in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas. This role is vital for expanding our client's reach and impact through collaboration with other organizations, businesses, and community groups. You will identify potential partners, develop mutually beneficial agreements, and ensure successful collaboration to advance our client's mission.
The position utilizes a hybrid model, enabling effective remote work and essential in-person engagement within the Eastern Cape .
- Identify, research, and cultivate potential strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and community organizations.
- Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, outlining clear objectives and mutual benefits.
- Manage and strengthen existing partner relationships through regular communication and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between partnership goals and organizational strategy.
- Organize and host events to engage partners and showcase the impact of collaborations.
- Track partnership activities and report on their effectiveness and contribution to organizational goals.
- Proven experience in business development , partnership management, or corporate relations.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of the Port Elizabeth and broader Eastern Cape socio-economic landscape.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
